A community theatre project co-created by humans and trees of all different ages, backgrounds and abilities. It is a celebration of interspecies storytelling that crosses time and space. The project began in early 2020 with the simple question: if trees could talk what would they say? As a community ensemble we went on a journey; together we met the oldest tree in Berlin, shared tree memories, discussed plant evolution with a scientist, meditated, imagined, drew on mythologies and created our performance. The process then went online and then on hold due to covid-19. Finally from 2nd – 10th October the performance premiered to a sold-out audience at English Theatre Berlin | International Performing Arts Center.
